This latest release (v 3.2) of the WordPress plugin Google Photos Pro is quite a big one. More details of changed can be found in the readme.txt file.
All existing users are urged to update to this version to make sure the plugin continues to function with Google Photos API correctly.
Since Google Photos API replaced Google Picasa API, we have been noticing intermittent image problems.
This is all down to a daily quota limit that was being exceeded because they were all being counted against the same API key.
The reason we kept it on the same API key was to keep the signup process as simple as possible for the users.
Unfortunately (due to this limit imposed by Google), it will not be possible to use a single API key going forward.
This latest version allows you to enter your own client id and client secret that you create in the Google API Manager, read the detailed instructions on how you can create your own. It’s really not that difficult and only involves a couple more fore fields in the plugin settings.
Thank you for your patience and we hope you enjoy the plugin!
